The prospectus for the 1K Classic, taking place on July 1st in the National Rowing Centre, has now been uploaded on the event page and is also available below.
The Regatta Committee are delighted to announce the addition of Men’s and Women’s Masters Doubles, as well as a new Grand Finale for the event, a Mixed Masters Eight! Last years event was a huge success with over 800 athletes racing on the day, and it’s only getting bigger and better this year.
“Rowing Ireland is pulling out the stops for the body of junior and masters athletes of the rowing community of Ireland on July 1st this year.” said Michael Hughes, 1K Classic Chair. “A full day of competitive racing at the National Rowing Centre in Cork to round off the season, with a new highlight of mixed crews in masters eights in a four women and Four man combination. A finale for the ages.”
Preparations for the event are well underway, so make sure to get your entries in before the deadline of June 21st!
