2km erg test
All athletes who wish to be considered for Rowing Ireland teams this season must complete a COMPULSORY 2k erg test by the 29th of November unless they have agreed an alternative test or timetable with Lead Coach Don McLachlan. Invites to the closed December trial will take these ergo results into consideration.
Your test will need to be supervised by a coach or club official and a picture of the memory screen showing final time/average split and the 500m break down should be sent to Mary McLachlan at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please notify us if you are attending the Limerick erg competition (22nd November) or the Ulster erg competition (29th November). If racing one of these events please send in your final score and average split and we will check against official results.
Lightweights who are racing either erg competition or testing at the NRC will be weighed in. Club officials supervising tests should submit the weight of their athletes along with the erg score. The weight cut off for November for lightweight men is 74kg and lightweight women is 60.5kg.
