The first finals took place today in St. Catharines, Canada. In a three-boat race alongside teams from the USA and China, the U23 Men’s Four, consisting of Liam Walter, Luke Dunleavy, Andrew O’Leary, and Rory Buckley, finished 2nd in the C final and 14th overall. Along with this, the U19 Men’s Coxed Four competed in a preliminary race for lanes earlier this afternoon, finishing 6th overall.
