Celebrate the athletes, coaches, volunteers, officials and clubs that made 2025 a standout year for rowing at home and abroad. Nominations are now open. Everyone in our community can play a part by nominating and then voting when the shortlist is announced.

After nominations close, a review panel will evaluate all eligible entries and create a shortlist. The shortlist will be published for a public vote to help select the winners.

How to Nominate:
- Complete the online form using the “Submit Nomination”.
- Provide a short citation that outlines the achievements and impact of your nominee.
- Upload a clear photograph of the nominee. If shortlisted, this photograph may be used on Rowing Ireland channels and in our event presentation.
- Submit by Friday, 14 November 2025 at 23:59.
Judging Process:
- Eligibility check: All entries are screened for completeness and alignment with category criteria.
- Panel review: A balanced panel reviews and scores nominations to create a shortlist.
- Public vote: The shortlist is opened to a public vote, which will contribute to the final decision.
- Final confirmation: Winners are announced at the event on Saturday, 31st January 2025
Public Vote:
- The shortlist will be published after 14 November 2025.
- Voting will remain open until 20 December 2025 at 23:59.
- One vote per person.
Terms and Guidance:
- Nominees must have been members of Rowing Ireland and a paid member of an affiliated club during the 2024/25 season.
- Nominations must be based on accomplishments between 01/01/25 and 14/11/25.
- Accomplishments outside this timeframe will be disregarded (except for the President’s Award).
- Nominations must be submitted by a member of an affiliated Rowing Ireland Club.
- Clubs may nominate members from other clubs or within their own club.
- Only one nomination per category is allowed per club.
- Photographs must be copyright cleared for Rowing Ireland use. If shortlisted, the image may be used on our website, social media and event screens.
- Rowing Ireland may move a nomination to a more suitable category where necessary.
