The Castleconnell annual Head of the River has regretfully been called off due to poor weather conditions, and will be postponed to a later date. The event was due to take place Saturday the 23rd of October.
High winds over the weekend mean the event could not run safely. The safety and wellbeing of participants, volunteers and staff are of the highest priority to Castleconnell Boat Club.
Castleconnell Boat Club thank all those who entered. An alternative weekend is being considered and will be communicated once finalised.
