In line with the HP strategic plan, the High-Performance Director and his team are strongly oriented in developing and nurturing Rowing coaches on the Island of Ireland.

The role of coaches in a sport like rowing is pivotal to ensuring the athlete is able to achieve their objectives and get the best of themselves. It is with these points in mind that High- Performance Rowing Ireland has set up the nomination system to get an understanding of which coaches are interested in further developing and improving their coaching capabilities, with the potential to also coach national team athletes.

Any coach that has the interest in being part of the High-Performance Program assisting with the pathway crews (U23 & Junior) for the 2022 season are asked to complete and submit this nomination form by 5 pm Wednesday 17 November.

Please note that nomination does not guarantee invitation and invitation will be based on details submitted in this nomination form but also the needs of the team throughout the season.

Interested coaches must be available to assist at HP camps at the NRC, trials and eventually events if selected. Invitation to assist at camps or trials will not guarantee selection to coach at an event. Any coach that meets the required standard or criteria will get the opportunity to work with and learn within a successful and dynamic HP team environment as we continue to develop our pathway towards 2024 Paris and beyond.

Please note that this will be a voluntary opportunity.
