The Commonwealth Rowing Championships take place this year on 9th-10th August 2014 at Strathclyde Park.
The Commonwealth Rowing Association organises this Championship to occur as close as possible to the venue and time of the Commonwealth Games. Racing will showcase the best talent from 15 Commonwealth countries. Strathclyde Park sits in over 400 hectares of countryside in the valley of the River Clyde in Motherwell just south east of Glasgow.
The Ulster Branch has selected 9 rowers from the affiliated Ulster Branch clubs who will represent Team Northern Ireland in the regatta.

They will be racing in various combinations of singles, doubles, a quad and a Mixed 8 and have been training locally in Portadown, Belfast and Coleraine in the run up to the event. They will be racing over a distance of 1500m and a sprint race of 500m.
