Want to get paid to coach? Get Going Get Rowing are looking for coaches in Limerick, Cork and Dublin.

Get Rowing introduces rowing to secondary school students. Classes vary in terms of frequency and times, although they’re always during school hours; sometimes they’re held at schools, sometimes at our partner boat clubs.

Maybe you’re retired and want to try something new, maybe you’ve got little ones at home and can make time while they’re at creche or school. You’d be perfect for the job. Maybe you’ve only recently joined the sport—not to worry, your enthusiasm and beginner’s knowledge of rowing combined with our lesson plans will see you through.

Get Rowing is a rewarding and progressive programme. It introduces a sport that we all love to students who are quite keen to learn and always up for some racing and a good time.

Before coaching you will need the following to be completed (we will provide support with these):

• Garda vetting

• Child Safeguarding course

• Rowing Ireland’s Intro to Coaching

We need coaches in Dublin, Limerick, and Cork both during the school year and summers for our Learn to Row Camps. To find out more, please contact Leinster Coordinator Aoife Byrne (DublinCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie) or Munster Coordinator Amy Johnson (LimerickCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie or CorkCoordinator@RowingIreland.ie)
