Grand League 2014: Points after Round 1

The points tables after the first round of the Grand League are now available below. Last year’s overall winner, Skibbereen RC, have once again taken an early lead in the overall points table, with 693 points, ahead of UCD in second place with 561 points.

Skibbereen RC also lead the Women’s Division 1 section, with 321 points. Trinity’s men and women’s clubs are currently leading the other three sections: DULBC with 194 points in the Women’s Division 2 section, and DUBC with 204 and 235 points in the Men’s Division 1 and 2 sections respectively.

The next round of the Grand League will be Dublin Metropolitan Regatta, on Saturday May 17th, with the final round of the league taking place at Cork Regatta from June 21-22nd.
