Follow Aifric Keogh

Aifric began rowing in 2006 during her first year of secondary school. She started trialing as a Junior and progressed from Coupe la jeunesse to U23s and eventually to the Senior level.

In 2023, Aifric secured 4th place in the W2- category at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, alongside Fiona Murtagh. Which qualified the boat for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

In 2020, Aifric won Bronze at the European Rowing Championships in Poznan, competing in the Women’s Four, and later went on to win Silver at the 2021 European Rowing Championships in Varese. Aifric was part of the crew that qualified the W4- at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne.

Aifric won a Bronze Medal in the Women’s Four at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Together with Eimear, Emily, and Fiona, she made history by winning Irish rowing’s first women’s Olympic Medal.
