‘Learn to Row’ Summer Camps


The following Clubs will be running ‘Learn to Row’ Camps for beginners in summer 2017.

Carlow Rowing Club will hold their summer camp to try rowing from August 14th-18th 2017. The camp will run from 9.30-1pm Monday to Friday. The cost of the camp is €50.

We would like to invite 11-13 year old boys and 12-14 year old girls. Participants must be able to swim.

Limerick Boat Club’s next Learn To Row camp commences on Saturday the 10th of June over three weekends as follows:

  • Saturday 10th June @ 5:30pm
  • Sunday 11th June @ 6:30pm
  • Saturday 17th June @ 11:00am
  • Sunday 18th June @ 12:00pm
  • Saturday 24th June @ 5:30pm
  • Sunday 25th June @ 6:30pm

Another camp if planned for August and details will be posted in due course.


Tribesmen Rowing Club “Learn To Row” Camp

Where:  Tribesmen Rowing Club, Galway

Cost: €80

Dates:  29 May 2017 to 1 June 2017 and 5 June 2017 to 8 June 2017

Times:  5.30pm to 7pm and 7pm to 8.30pm

Queen’s University Belfast rowing clubs will be running 3 weeks of rowing camps for 13 – 17 year olds.
