The invitation list for the HP selection trials on March 24th – 25th, 2018, is now available below:
Please note that any athlete whose name does not appear on the above list, who believes they should be trailling for the 2018 Irish national team, should contact the LCC through their club coach no later than the 12th of March.

These documents have been created for rowers, coaches and support staff. We kindly ask you to familiarise yourself with the details to ensure a smooth weekend of racing.
Please note the schedule is subject to change due to external circumstances.
Races throughout the March trials will be seeded based on results obtained by Rowing Ireland through the event requirements.
1 Heat- Race for Lanes.
2 Heats- Winner and second place from each heat and the next two fastest times.
3 Heats- Winner from each heat and the next three fastest times.
4 Heats- Winner from each heat and the next two fastest times.
For final selections, Rowing Ireland will adopt FISA racing rules for A and B final. Seeding for heats in final selection will be based on results obtained by rowing Ireland in March trials.
After the small boat A and B finals on Saturday March 24th, a list of all the athletes racing on Sunday March 25th will be published. Subsequently, a first cut can be decided by the HP unit.
Notice for future trialling:
Due to the number of athletes trailling and considering Rowing Ireland’s commitment to be thorough in our selection process for national team boats, the next selection trials will take place over four days (with the first race taking place on the Thursday morning – last race on the Sunday afternoon).
Dates for future trials:
U23 and WUG selection – (7th to 10th June, 2018)
Junior selection and Coupe – (23rd – 26th June, 2018)
Senior A selection – (17th to 20th May, 2018 indicative for the WC’s team) – (19th to 22nd July, 2018 for the final World Championships Selection)
