Congratulations to Ellie Kate Hutchinson and her Coach Geoff Bones of Bann Rowing Club on winning the Championship Girls Sculls at the National Schools Regatta, Dorney lake on Sunday 29th May.
In what commentators described as one of the most exciting races of the event, the title changed hands in the final few strokes of the race as Meg Knight of Trentham Boat Club, indoor World Champion and firm favourite surrendered her lead to a strong Ellie Kate.
