National Volunteering Week takes place from 14th – 20th May 2018. It is a whole week dedicated to highlighting volunteering across Ireland and is run in partnership with the network of Volunteer Centres and Volunteering Information Services.
We know that our rowing clubs simply couldn’t run without our great volunteer coaches, administrators, parents and supporters, and in celebration of National Volunteering week we want to tell the story of a volunteer that stands out in their club.
So if you know someone in particular who stands out to you, please tell us about this volunteer and why they should be recognised – what they do and how they make a difference, big or small. Please provide as much information as possible (up to 100 but no more than 300 words).
The more we know about the volunteer, the more they will stand out.
Remember – you know how fabulous this volunteer is but we don’t know anything about them, so tell us in as much detail as possible how great they are!
Nominations are marked on the following criteria:
- The dedication to their volunteer role
- The impact on your club
- The demonstration of creativity, initiative or passion
Please send your entry to firstname.lastname@example.org. Entries should be in by Wednesday 23rd May at 5pm.
