Last Saturday and Sunday, six volunteers from clubs across the country completed their safety power boat training. The participants came from as far as Caherciveen and Belfast, Portmagee to Sligo.
The Rowing Ireland safety launch was kindly purchased with the support of Sport Ireland and Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. These incredible volunteers will now be available for safety boat duty at regattas.
A huge well done and congratulations to all of the volunteers and their respected clubs who took part in this and thanks to Pat Kiely, our club support officer, for organising and attending this training over the weekend!
