Sweet Potato and Chocolate Flap Jack Recipe

If you have run out of flour don’t despair, you can still get creative in the kitchen with this oaty
flapjack recipe.

Oats are packed full of fibre and are a good source of carbohydrates and antioxidants (which help to
protect our cells from damage). Sweet potato adds moisture to the mix, as well as carbohydrates,
fibre and vitamins.

Makes 10

Ingredients:
 3 tsp Cinnamon
 20g Butter
 25g Drinking Chocolate Powder
 35g Honey
 150g Rolled Oats
 25g Cooked Sweet Potato

Method:
 Preheat the oven to 180℃
 In a medium pan, melt the butter and honey together.
 Mix in the remaining ingredients, making sure that the oats and sweet potato are evenly mixed through.
 Transfer the mixture to a lined baking tin and cook for around 20 minutes.
 Leave the flapjack to cool before cutting into portions.
