Today, Rowing Ireland launches their Club Culture Survey.
This survey is part of a research project, supported and funded by Healthy Ireland and Sport Ireland. The aim of the research is to understand the impact of club culture on a person’s long term involvement in rowing, with a particular focus on gender inclusivity and equality.
Through the survey, we want to hear from as many members and former members of the rowing community in Ireland as possible. We ask that you complete the survey and also share with your current and former club members.
The aim of the survey is to:
- Understand how club culture can be influenced to create a positive inclusive environment for all members
- Develop an evidence informed toolkit for clubs to positively influence culture
- Positively influence longer term outcomes for gender equality in rowing
There are individual spot prizes for completed surveys and each participant’s club will be entered into a draw for a €500 voucher for OarSport. The more members to complete the survey, the greater your club’s chance to win.
