Team Announcement for World Rowing Cup III, Lucerne

Rowing Ireland is delighted to announce the senior team that will travel to Lucerne, Switzerland, to compete at the 2018 World Rowing Cup III from 13-15 July.

This is the third and final World Rowing Cup regatta of the 2018 season. It takes place on the famous Rotsee regatta course in Lucerne. This regatta is also the last chance for athletes to test themselves at world level before the main event of the year, the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in September.

The Irish team to travel to the event is as follows:

LM2x: Gary O’ Donovan (Skibbereen RC) & Paul O’ Donovan (Skibbereen RC)

M2-: Mark O’ Donovan (Skibbereen RC) & Shane O’ Driscoll (Skibbereen RC)

M2-: Andy Harrington (Shandon BC), Patrick Boomer (Belfast RC)

M1x: Philip Doyle (QUBBC)

W1x: Sanita Puspure (Old Collegians BC)

W2x: Monika Dukarska (Killorglin RC), Aileen Crowley (Old Collegians BC)

A W2- or W4- will also be included in the team – this will be finalised in the coming days.
