Testing Weekend for U23 Candidates 13th/14th June

A testing weekend for U23 candidates will take place on the 13th and 14th June at the NRC. The following athletes have been invited and will undergo the following testing:

 

Lightweight women: 

Phoebe Mulligan

Kirsty Turner

Oisin Forde

There will be a single sculling race off to determine whether there is a single fast enough for selection. If two or three scullers show sufficient speed then a double may also be tested.

 

Lightweight men’s sweep:

David O’Malley

Stephen O’Connor

Conor Carmody

Chris Beck

Shane Mulvaney

Lloyd Seaman

Liam Keane

Testing will be conducted to finalise crews.

 

Heavyweight women’s sculling:

W2x: Hilary Shinnick and Bridget Jacques

A speed test will be conducted for this crew.

 

Heavyweight women’s sweep:

W2-: Orla Finnegan and Aileen Crowley

A speed test will be conducted for these this crew

 

Heavyweight men’s sculling:

Sam McKeown

Andrew Griffin

Erik Rowan

Testing will be done to select a double.

 

Lightweight men’s sculling:

Aodhon Burns

Fintan McCarthy
