Rowing Ireland are delighted to announce Paul Gallen as the May Volunteer of the Month!
Paul is a dedicated member of Athlone Boat Club and wears many hats when supporting the club, including; Club Treasurer, Committee Member, Development Committee Chair and Director. He is a Master Rower, Mentor and and exceptional Leader. Paul Gallen truly is the essence of Athlone Boat Club.
Paul contributes to the sport by project managing the development of Athlone’s new rowing club which houses a fleet of boats and equipment for the rowing community. It is a building that will have Paul Gallen’s name for generations to thank.
