In alignment with the change made by World Rowing, Rowing Ireland have renamed “Offshore Rowing” as “Coastal Rowing”.
We believe that alignment with World Rowing is important particularly, given the inclusion of Coastal Rowing in the programme for the Olympic Summer Games in 2028.
This enables us to make the most of the opportunity Coastal Rowing’s Olympic designation provides for the growth and development of the sport of Rowing in Ireland.
