The high-performance trial will go ahead this Sunday, October 1st. The trial will involve one 6km time trial in the morning and a second 6km in the afternoon.

Event Information:

Saturday

NRC will be open from 3 pm to 6 pm for rigging. Gates will close at 6 pm sharp.

Racks will be provided to store boats outside the compound. It is each individual’s responsibility to ensure that boats are securely tied down.

As it stands, the course will be closed for training on Saturday due to the poor weather forecast.

Sunday

NRC will open at 7:00 am.

The course will not be open for a pre-paddle.

Weight checks will begin at 7:00 am approximately (subject to race time confirmation).

Time Trial 1 will start at 8:30 am.

Time Trial 2 will start at 2:30 pm.

Athletes arriving with boats on Sunday morning are asked to rig boats outside the compound and bring their boat/oars into the compound for their allocated racing time.

Notes:

Athletes must race in a club one-piece and use club-colored oars if possible.

Athletes should be prepared to race in challenging conditions. It is the coach’s responsibility to ensure that athletes are of a standard to handle the conditions.

If a boat is being scratched, please email leah@rowingireland.ie by 3 pm today, Friday, October 29th; a racing schedule will be posted after this time.

We strongly encourage athletes to have their boats rigged on Saturday.
