The 2021 World Rowing Coastal Championships take place between the 30th of September and 3rd of October in Praia da Torre, in Oeiras, Portugal.
34 nations will attend the event, with 35 Irish crews from 18 clubs, competing across a range of races. The rowing course will be in Lisbon harbour waters around turning points, with a mass beach start and finish. The start and finish beach is a fine sand beach with a sheltered rolling wave; a course length of four kilometres for heats and B Finals and six kilometres for A Finals.
Live streams of the events will be viewable on World Rowing’s YouTube channel across the weekend, and results will be covered by Rowing Ireland on social media and rowingireland.ie. More information can be found on the official website.
