IROW Safe

The Rowing Ireland online incident report form, IROW Safe, is for everyone’s use; Rower, Cox, Coach Parent/Guardian, Club Official, Safety Advisor or passerby. We encourage everyone to report all incidents and near misses. The information collected will be used to identify trends in dangerous occurrences and to help keep clubs informed about safety matters.

IROW Safe is confidential and will allow the Safety Advisory Committee to collect data to help in informing clubs on hazards, risks, and how to safely eliminate the potential harm from these risks.

As part of an incentive to encourage the use of the IROW Safe, the Rowing Ireland Safety Advisory Committee will award two coaches/safety launch rescue bags to the two Rowing Ireland affiliated clubs that submit the most reports through IROW Safe in a 12-month period, starting on the 5th of April 2021.
