Rowing Ireland’s High-Performance Director, Antonio Maurogiovanni has announced the athletes that will represent Ireland at the Coupe de la Jeunesse 2021 and the 2021 World Rowing Junior Championships.

The 2021 Coupe de la Jeunesse will take place from the 6th to the 8th of August in Linz, Austria.

The 2021 World Rowing Junior Championships will take place from the 11th to the 15th of August in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Rowing Ireland’s Chief Executive Officer, Michelle Carpenter said, “I would like to congratulate our young athletes on being selected for the Coupe de la Jeuness and the World Rowing Junior Championships.

These are such important pathway events that currently eight of our Olympic athletes that are competing over the next couple of days, took part in.

I hope that they enjoy this really significant journey on the first step of their pathway in international rowing.”
