After many months of deliberation and long hours of dedicated work, the new flatwater rules are ready to go live. Our tracker entry system has the necessary changes made and it is ready to handle the new rules going forward.

From today, the 6th of May 2022 at 10.30 am, the tracker system will be updated. We thank everyone involved in this process, the many individuals and clubs that debated, reviewed and thought through the changes that will help to make our sport more inclusive, competitive and rewarding.

The staff of Rowing Ireland have worked with Alan Reddan at Silverarm to ensure that the tracker system is updated and functioning correctly. Alan and the domestic events committee have implemented and tested the system to bring it to the stage where we can introduce the changes to our rowing rules.

If you have any questions on the rule changes or have any difficulty with the tracker system, please email Pat Kiely at clubsupport@rowingireland.ie for assistance.

We wish all our athletes, officials, coaches and clubs the best of luck for the remainder of the season and look forward to meeting you at upcoming events.

Once again, thank you for all the input received to make these rule changes happen, we thank you for your patience which allowed us to ensure that the system is tested and functioning correctly.

Yours

Pat Kiely
