The Waterways Ireland ‘Row for It League’ concluded on Sunday, 2 August at the Carrick-on-Shannon Sprint Regatta. Following an exciting series of six competitive regattas, the final points have been tallied and the winners in each category have been confirmed.
The winning crews were proudly presented with their medals on Sunday by Waterways Ireland CEO, John McDonagh, and Rowing Ireland Interim CEO, Matt McKerrow.

Congratulations to all the winning crews and to every crew that competed throughout the league. It was fantastic to see so many young athletes taking part in league-style racing and gaining valuable competitive experience.

It typifies the community and club spirit within rowing and it’s such a pleasure to see happy crew faces celebrating their achievements.
