Olderfleet Rowing Club are proud to be hosting the Inaugural Swift Irish Masters Coastal Championships on 20th May 2023.
Olderfleet, although relatively new formed in 2020, has a team of knowledgeable and experienced rowers who are the driving force behind club development. Their combined experience of hosting and participating at the highest level in coastal and flat water events will ensure that this event is a safe, fair and enjoyable championship for everyone attending.
The Masters category was introduced in recent years at local coastal regattas. With the fast growing interest and desire of rowers to compete within this category, it is a welcome development to see it now establish itself as an Irish Championship event.
Olderfleet Rowing Club look forward to welcoming rowers from local, national and international clubs to the village of Glenarm situated on the beautiful County Antrim coast. Glenarm already has a rich rowing history, however, this will be the first Swift Coastal regatta to take place in the bay.
