Dear Club Secretary and Event Organiser,
Following the governance roadshows and the feedback received across a range of issues, I spoke with the CEO and Chair of High Performance and Governance Committees to establish a Working Group with representatives from RI operations, the HP Committee, and other relevant individuals.
The single focus of this Working Group is to consider all the issues raised and how best to maximise availability of the NRC for all events scheduled for 2022-23 starting with Muckross Head.
It is vital to ensure that the NRC is put to the best use for all of our Members. The Working Group met for the first time on Friday 4th last, at Sport Ireland, and will begin its work following the AGM. Their intention is to follow up with Clubs and event organizers after the AGM. In the interim, you can send any queries or topics you would wish them to consider to the committee via Clara O’Brien at events@rowingireland.ie
