Alison Bergin
In 2023, Alison raced in the W2x at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, alongside Zoe Hyde. The pair finished 4th, qualifying the boat for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
In 2022, Alison won bronze in the BW1x at the U23 World Rowing Championships, and in 2023, she secured silver in the same event.
Alison first represented Ireland in 2020 at the Junior European Championships, where she raced in the JW4x, finishing 5th.
Originally from Fermoy, Alison started rowing with Fermoy Rowing Club as a Junior, winning numerous Irish championships with the club. She is currently studying Sports and Exercise Management at MTU.
