The Annual Delegate Meeting (ADM) for the Coastal Division of Rowing Ireland is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Sunday, 8th December 2024, at the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise. This meeting is an important event for all affiliated coastal clubs, providing an opportunity to review the past year, elect committee members, and set the course for 2025.
Agenda:
– Reviewing the Annual Report from the Committee for the past year.
– Approving the minutes of the previous year’s ADM.
– Electing an Honorary Secretary and five committee members.
– Discussing and voting on proposed rule changes.
– Establishing the Coastal events calendar for 2025.
– Selecting the venue and date for the 2025 Irish Coastal Championships.
According to Rowing Ireland’s regulations, the following deadlines apply:
Proposals: Clubs wishing to propose agenda items must send them to the committee at info@rowingireland.ie by 10th November 2024. Each proposal should address a single subject.
Nominations: Affiliated clubs may nominate individuals for committee positions, including the role of Secretary. Nominations must be submitted to info@rowingireland.ie by 17th November 2024. Each nominee must be proposed and seconded by separate affiliated clubs.
Regatta Dates & Championship Hosting: Clubs are invited to propose dates for the 2025 regatta season and express interest in hosting Senior, Masters, or Junior Championships. Submissions should be sent to info@rowingireland.ie by 17th November 2024.
Voting Delegate: Each club must designate a voting delegate for the ADM by 17th November 2024. If the same delegate plans to attend the Coastal ADM, they must register separately.
Only paid-up, affiliated clubs are eligible to vote.
