Brian Colsh

Brian is a Commerce with Accounting student at the University of Galway. He started his rowing journey in 2002 at Sligo Rowing Club, where his Dad was coaching. Intrigued by the sport, he decided to give rowing a try. Brian competed at several trials over the years, and it wasn’t until 2020 that he successfully made it into the Junior squad, where he raced in the JM4x at the 2020 Junior European Championships.

In 2023, Brian won Gold in the M2x alongside Konan Pazzaia at the U23 Rowing World Championships in Belgrade, this was an improvement from the pairs bronze medal finish in 2022. The duo then proceeded to compete in the M4x at the World Championships later that year.

Also in 2022, Brian competed in the M1x at the 2022 World Championships in Racice
