Dublin Metropolitan Regatta Council –
Having reviewed the Met Eireann weather forecast for Saturday 25th May, have taken the decision to cancel Metro Regatta 2024 for the safety and welfare of the competitors and volunteers involved in the regatta.
The Council would like to thank the clubs that supported the regatta this year, the many volunteers that made themselves available to help on the day of the regatta and the dedicated crew that went out to Blessington on numerous days to install the course. Hopefully 2025 will bring better weather and you will again support the regatta.
Clubs that have paid entry fees for the regatta should contact the Metro Treasurer, Damien Kelly, regarding the refund of their fees.
