The Community Sport Facility Fund (CSFF) 2026 is opening soon. To ensure your club is eligible to apply for this grant, your OSCAR account must be fully up to date by Friday, 27 March.

The Community Sport Facility Fund aims to:

  • Assist voluntary and community organisations, National Governing Bodies (NGBs) of sport, Local Authorities, Education and Training Boards, and schools to develop high-quality, accessible, safe and sustainable sports facilities.
  • Provide appropriate sports equipment to help maximise participation in sport and physical activity.
  • Prioritise disadvantaged areas and groups, including people with disabilities, in the provision of sports facilities.
  • Encourage shared use of local, regional and national sports facilities by clubs, community organisations and governing bodies.

Clubs should ensure the following information on their OSCAR account is correct:

  • Organisation name
  • Primary contact person:
    • First name
    • Surname
    • Email address

Since 1998, more than 19,000 projects have benefited from Sports Capital funding, with approximately €1.43 billion allocated. The programme has transformed the sporting landscape across Ireland, improving the quality and availability of sporting facilities in communities nationwide.
