The Rowing Ireland Recreational Rowing Committee are delighted to host a recreational rowing tour on the Liffey River, Dublin on the 25th of September, 2021. 

The row will start from Municipal Rowing Centre at 12.30pm on the Saturday afternoon. The group will go over the Islandbridge weir and down through Dublin City Center, passing under the 17 bridges – including the iconic O’Connell Bridge – and down to the Dublin docklands. We’ll take a short break at the 18th bridge – the East Link – now Thomas Clarke Bridge, to view the sights around Dublin’s North Wall docks and the Dodder River. Expected distance is 12km.

An ideal day trip for the experienced recreational rower. This is not a competitive event. Over 18’s only. 

Participants are welcome to join for post row, food and drink at the Strawberry Hall.

All rowers must be registered with Rowing Ireland.
