”We have reviewed the forecast again and the wind is now strengthening throughout the day and will be too high to ensure safe racing in particular for the 2pm race. It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to cancel the event. We apologise for the late call but the forecast has changed since yesterday and we have considered alternative options such as shortening the course or racing earlier in the day, however, the wind remains our primary concern.”
