Thanks to the negotiation on behalf of the Rowing Ireland membership, the CEO of Rowing Ireland has secured a rebate Rowing Ireland insurance premium, this rebate was due to the decreased liability risk that resulted from the Pandemic reducing the activities of our members for the last 18 months.
As a result of this rebate, Rowing Ireland would like to pass on part of the savings to our membership starting with a reduction of 20% in the entry cost for the Irish flatwater Rowing Championships.
The fee reductions have been agreed with the Irish Championships committee and will be adjusted accordingly so that clubs can benefit in 2021. Rowing Ireland will also support other age group and disciplines championships events this year in order to ensure racing is supported for our members. Details of this scheme will be communicated shortly.
