The Irish Rowing Championship Committee have made amendments to a number of the events for the 2024 racing schedule.

These include:

  • There will be no Men’s Novice 8+ events as of this time, all other Novice events will remain the same.
  • As Junior 16 events are raced over 2k, these will be offered at the Championship Regatta.
    For the J16 1x & J16 2x events, a limit of 3 entries per club in each event will apply. For J16
    4x+ a limit 4 entries per club.
  • For events with 19 or more entries, time-trials have previously been utilised, with the
    fastest six crews/scullers progressing to the final. This format was successful over the last
    two years, and as a result we will be repeating it in 2024.
