The Irish Rowing Championships will take place at the National Rowing Centre, Cork from Friday July 10th to Sunday July 12th. This is the pinnacle of the domestic rowing season with some of the best Irish crews set to take to the waters of Inniscarra.
With a large number of entries expected, the championships committee are seeking volunteers in a number of key roles
Launch Drivers
Duties: The crews are ready, but they can’t hit the water until our team of launch drivers are in place. To ensure safety, fair racing and marshalling we need experienced launch drivers who are happy to put themselves into this high-octane racing environment:
Shifts: The are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, morning and afternoon shifts available. Half day shifts are also available.

Umpires
Help ensure fair racing and smooth event delivery. Opportunities are available for both experienced umpires and those looking to gain more on the water umpiring experience.
Shifts: The are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, morning and afternoon shifts available. In particular, Friday morning and Sunday afternoon.

Stakeboat Personnel
Duties: Assist crews at the start line by holding boats steady and helping ensure races begin safely and fairly.
