On the weekend of March 25th, a two day Junior Regional Camp was held in Belfast with clubs and schools from all over Northern Ireland in attendance. Hosted by our Rowing Ireland University Pathway College, Queens University Belfast, the camp was a great opportunity to show local rowers the high performance university setting that QUBBC are providing.
“It was great to see so much potential across the various age groups.” said John Armstrong, Queens University Belfast Boat Club Head Coach. “We were delighted to be able to showcase our facilities and give a taste of what rowing at Queens can be like. We hope to see some of those who attended walk through the doors in September 2023 and 2024. Good luck and work hard!”
The camp was a huge success with much learning and improvements all around. We would like to thank all the clubs who participated, and Queens for providing the facilities.
