This year’s Limerick Regatta, held on April 26th, marked the exciting kickoff of the Waterways Ireland ‘Row for It League’. Open to J13 4x+, J14 4x+, and J15 4x+ categories, the league promises a thrilling season ahead, with upcoming regattas at Castleconnell, Carlow, Athlone, and a grand finale at the Carrick-on-Shannon Regatta.
Castleconnell Boat Club set an early benchmark with a strong performance, but with several races to go, the league remains wide open. The next opportunity to earn league points will be at Castleconnell Regatta on May 17th. You can download the full league table below.
Limerick Regatta enjoyed sunny weather and great racing conditions, contributing to a fantastic day of rowing on the water. With a record number of entries, the Limerick Regatta featured highly competitive racing across all levels from J13 to Senior showcasing the depth of talent across the rowing community.
