Following the most recent weather forecast and in the interests of safety, the Muckross Head of the River scheduled for Saturday, 6 December 2025 has been cancelled. This decision has been made with deep regret, but the safety of all participants, coaches, volunteers, and officials must remain the foremost priority.
The organising committee wishes to extend sincere thanks to all clubs for their entries and continued support for the event. The committee will review the feasibility of rescheduling a fixture in 2026, in consultation with the Rowing Ireland Domestic Events Committee.
Clubs that have already paid entry fees will be contacted directly by the organising committee to arrange refunds.
