Natalie Long
In 2024, Natalie raced in the W4- at the Paris Olympics. She also placed 4th at World Rowing Cup I that year.
In 2022, Natalie won silver in the W4- at the European Rowing Championships. She also placed 7th in the W2- at the World Rowing Championships in 2022.
Natalie returned to the Irish team in 2021, after initially starting her rowing journey in 2018. She had previously rowed for a couple of years in the UK with university teams and senior clubs, but after overcoming injuries, she joined the Irish squad and began training in the single scull under Noel Monohan at Lee Valley Rowing Club.
Natalie first became interested in rowing at Imperial College London to stay fit and developed her skills while rowing with various university teams and senior clubs.
