Paul O’Donovan
Originally from Skibbereen, Cork, Paul is one of Ireland’s most successful athletes, having won numerous World Championship Titles and a Gold medal in the LM2x category at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Paul’s first appearance on the Irish Rowing Team was in 2011 when he secured a 4th place finish in the JM1x at the Junior World Championships. Since then, Paul has consistently demonstrated success on his journey to the senior team, earning multiple medals at junior and U23 levels, ultimately achieving the remarkable feat of winning six world championship senior titles.
