The Rowing Ireland Recreational Rowing Committee are delighted to host a second recreational rowing tour on the Shannon River, Limerick on the 14th of August, 2021.

The row will start from St. Michael’s Rowing Club at 9am on the Saturday morning, and follow the Shannon downriver to Bunratty Castle (approx. 16km). The route subject to change according to weather conditions on the day.

An ideal day trip for the experienced recreational rower. This is not a competitive event. Over 18’s only.

This event is part of Sport Ireland’s HEROutdoors Week to celebrate and promote activity in the outdoors. The event is open to men and women.

Includes seat rental, lunch after the row and return bus to St. Michaels Rowing Club.

Places limited to 30 and will be allocated on a first come, first served (waiting list if over-subscribed).

All rowers much be registered with Rowing Ireland.
