Rowing Ireland is calling on rowing supporters to volunteer for two of the most exciting events of the rowing season: The 1K Classic at Lough Rinn, taking place from the 28th to 29th of June, and the Irish Rowing Championships at the National Rowing Centre, running from the 11th to 13th of July. Volunteers will be needed from the 9th of July for the Irish Rowing Championships
These events are the pinnacle of the domestic rowing calendar and cannot be run without dedicated volunteers.
We’re looking for volunteers aged 18 or older. While rowing experience is preferred, it’s not essential. Skills in areas such as driving a launch, timing, or general marshalling are a bonus but not required.
In return for your support, you will receive a daily allowance (email us for more details), breakfast and lunch each day, and accommodation if you’re travelling from outside of Cork for the Irish Rowing Championships or outside of Leitrim for the 1K Classic. You’ll also receive an official Rowing Ireland T-shirt as a thank-you for being part of the team.
