The banks of Lough Rinn are set to come alive with activity on 19 and 20 September, as hundreds of crews make their way to Leitrim for the rescheduled Rowing Ireland 1K Classic.
Following the announcement of the new event dates, we are seeking volunteers to support the delivery of the regatta across a number of key roles.
Stakeboat Personnel
Duties: Assist crews at the start line by holding boats steady and helping to ensure races begin safely and fairly.

Launch Drivers
Duties: Experienced launch drivers are required to support the safety, marshalling and smooth running of racing on the water. With crews racing throughout the weekend, launch drivers play a vital role in ensuring the event is delivered safely and efficiently.

Regatta Volunteers
Duties: Support the smooth running of the regatta and help ensure all crews can safely progress through the regatta enclosure. Roles may include safety checks, slip stewarding and other general event duties.

Umpires
Duties: Help ensure fair racing and the smooth delivery of the event. Opportunities are available for both experienced umpires and those looking to gain further on-the-water umpiring experience.
