Rowing Ireland is pleased to confirm that new dates have been secured for the 2026 Rowing Ireland 1K Classic, which will now take place on Saturday, 19th and Sunday, 20th September 2026 at Lough Rinn, Co. Leitrim.
Following the earlier postponement of the event, the updated dates provide clubs and athletes with the opportunity to come together later this season for a full weekend of competitive 1000-metre racing.
The event information on Tracker has now been updated, and the Organising Committee hopes to run the same programme of events that was originally scheduled for the June regatta.
Rowing Ireland would like to thank all clubs, athletes, coaches and supporters for their patience, understanding and continued support while the new arrangements were finalised.
We look forward to welcoming the rowing community to Lough Rinn in September and hope that as many clubs and athletes as possible will join us for what promises to be a fantastic weekend of racing.
