As part of the Rowing Ireland ‘Club Governance Week’ a webinar on Club Safety Statements will take place on the Monday the 29th of March at 7.30 pm.
The webinar will look at the need for a safety statement, what should be included in a safety statement, hazards & risks identification, how to carry out risk assessments and how to properly record the risk assessments.
The webinar will be presented by Pat Kiely chair of the Safety Advisory Committee and the club support officer with Rowing Ireland.
With all clubs hoping to resume training in the very near future, now is a good time to make sure we have our safety protocols in place. All clubs are encouraged to attend, safety is everyone’s business.
