IROW safe
The Rowing Ireland Accident and Incident online report form IROW safe is for everyone’s use; Rower, Cox, Coach Parent/Guardian, Club Official, Safety Advisor or passerby. We encourage everyone to report all incidents and near misses. The information collected will be used to identify trends in dangerous occurrences and help keep clubs informed about safety matters.
The IROW safe system is confidential and will allow the safety advisory committee to collect data to help in informing clubs on hazard, risks and importantly how to safely eliminate the potential harm from these risks.
As part of an incentive to encourage people to use the IROW safe online reporting system, the Rowing Ireland Safety Advisory Committee will award two coaches/safety launch rescue bags, to the top two, Rowing Ireland Affiliated clubs that submit the most reports on the IROW safe system, in a twelve-month period starting on the 5th of April 2021.

Transparent dry bag, Throw Line, floating Knife, Whistle, First Aid kit, Blankets (foil & Cotton)
